Joanna A. Is a mother/daughter owned boutique that began as a need to find new goals in a young life that was unexpectedly altered. In 2014 Ashlyn Joanna, then age 11, was stricken with Acute Flaccid Myelitis. She was an aspiring runner and dancer one day & had very limited leg mobility the next. She has gotten stronger since that time (in so many ways) but still has some limited mobility. In 2015, the concept of Joanna A. Boutique began as an idea to replace all that was lost in the life before. Originally Joella’s, the business began in a 10x10 space in The Painted Tree and has grown to 3 store locations and online.
